Joey Essex forgot his mic was on and swore live on This Morning

Holly Willoughby become compelled to apologise to This Morning viewers after Joey Essex forgot his microphone was on and swore on live TV.

Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield have been speakme to Gino D'Acampo whilst viewers could pay attention Joey Essex within the history complaining about a strawberry (what else?) and announcing: "F**king shithole."

Naturally, the ITV daytime presenters were quick to say sorry.

Holly brushed off the blunder, saying: "Just in case absolutely everyone heard Joey Essex off camera just then, we apologise.

"He failed to realize his microphone was on."

Phillip brought: "I did not understand he knew any words that large!"

But enthusiasts of the ITV display appeared to look the funny side.

Writing on Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Awkward once they don't turn off a mic and Joey Essex is effing and blinding somewhere in the historical past..." whilst someone else said: "There's been a tech blooper, can nevertheless hear Joey Essex and he's swearing like a trooper!"
